good morning. i am making sure you have seen the below, as well.
as much and as many may wish to just see us go away....we will not give up nor give in because so many continue to tell us "NO". we have heard it from them all....the white house, the cbc members over the years, the naacp, tom vilsack's of the world, joe leonard, hbcu's, so called civil rights leaders/advocates, other secretary's of agriculture, eeoc, domestic advisors, the congressional committees & their caucuse's. we have heard it all....from all too many.
justice will trump wrong doings. we are here in this battle for as long it takes. it has been over 20 years at usda for me "and the band plays on". we are the true beneficiaries of dr. kings dream...it lives inside us. fear and disappointment will not trump our dreams and desires for a better america.
we still dream like the dreamers....martin, malcolm, robert & john. our commitment goes beyond our skin.
