This month's 'At-Cost' Specials list is probably the best that we have ever offered! There are many items here that I never thought we'd be able to offer 'At-Cost', but with perseverance and persistence, gently asking certain suppliers on a monthly basis, some of them finally caved in ;-) Check it out!
First on the list we have the top five oils from Andreas! These oils are so pure that even the Flaxseed Oil will not go rancid while sitting out of a refrigerator for over a year! The secrets behind these products are the 'slow rpm/no friction' oil press that their creator, Andreas, uses and that he stores the oils in Miron Glass Jars. In fact, Andreas says that putting oils in a refrigerator actually affects the integrity of the oil and with these you don't need to refrigerate them.
There has been a lot of talk lately that most people are getting too much Omega-6 fatty acids and not enough Omega-3 fatty acids. Ever since that law passed in California requiring almonds to be pasteurized, it's been really unclear unclear for people whether or not the almonds available at health food stores or online are pasteurized or not. At present, people can actually claim that their almonds are raw, even if they've been pasteurized! These almonds that we are offering 'At-Cost' are definitely not pasteurized. They are guaranteed 100% Raw, and taste amazing!
This next product is surely one of the best sweeteners on the health foods market today; 100% pure organic crystallized coconut sap. A few girls who started consuming this new crystallized coconut sugar product told us they are now eating it straight from the jar. They stated that due to its richness, smoothness, sweetness and overall creamy consistency, they like it better than chocolate and are using it as a replacement!
