Humane Society Animal abuse/harassment complaint 6 15 2011 w Letter to Fire Marshall

6/15/2011

Humane Society of Pacific County

Attention Nancy;

11:20 am

Attached is the letter sent to Fire Marshall McLeod

This is a follow up report per our phone call this same date. A
copy of this report will be provided to those witnessing the events last
night as well. This letter will also be placed on my websites/blogs, as
our listeners follow my events regularly, and were particularly
concerned with last evenings events.

The events that transpired last evening, June 14, 2011 between
5:00pm and 8:00pm previously reported this date to the Fire Marshall and
other witness was also just reported to the Humane Society of Pacific
County. 360-642-1180 at 10:57 am Pacific time.

Reporting the same incident that occurred while on the air last
evening with AIB Radio but this time to include the harassment,
reporting to the Humane Society Gary Wakemans's threatening, vexing and
annoying activities endangering the habitat and lives of my animals.

This is a state licensed rehabilitation center for wounded,
abused, neglected and injured animals. Gary Wakeman's intentional
harassment by yelling and screaming, loud music, and illegal fire
endangered my property rights, my animals and I was in fear for my life
by Wakeman's actions.

There were over 186 people on the air last night that heard
Wakeman's loud intentional harassing my animals and myself. Wakeman's
landlord, Jim Lind, who lives in Gresham, Oregon, was notified but
stated that he refused to acknowledge any responsibility.

I appreciate the Humane Society is looking into the matter
knowing that rabbits are extremely susceptible to stroke and heart
attack from the slightest threat to their environment, either by noise
or even the fear of being chased.

The rabbits know that they are safe in my presence but otherwise
loud noises can literally frighten them to death.

It could be compared to a parent entering a room with their own
children while banging on pots and pans. The children know their parents
and though the noise is loud the children would just wonder why the
parents are making that noise. Where as if a stranger came into the
house making that same noise the level of fear increases substantially
and the children would run and hide fin fear for their lives, not
knowing the person entering their home or that person's intent.

This is the same scenario for my rabbits. The Humane Society in the
past had also called me to take in one of their rabbits as they did not
have capabilities to house rabbits safely with dogs and cats.

The local veterinarian office, my neighbor a Biologist that bands
birds across the country, and the Humane Society know that I take in
wounded animals, as does the Wildlife Center of the North Coast, who
just recently received a pelican I took in until their arrival.

This property was sold as "a perfect place for your animals, it's
quiet, secluded a dead end road and can't be developed."

I demand that express and implied contract be upheld, by the
county, the state, the adjoining landlord and other property owners who
know that I have had as many as twenty rabbits to care for at one time
as well as other animals.

Also as discussed per our conversation the offer still stands to
volunteer as animal control agent to help gain revenue for the Humane
Society by enforcing the existing dog leash and other applicable dog
"clean up after your pet laws" currently not enforced by any agency,
though on the books as laws.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter
