"Growing Opportunities For Farmers"

Our conference goal is to provide a wide variety of educational, direct training sessions that will provide practical knowledge and techniques to build capacity and identify resources for small-scale, limited resource, and socially disadvantaged farmers, ranchers and landowners. Information and educational materials from various agencies regarding their programs and services will be shared as well as networking and feedback opportunities to allow participants to discuss experiences, concerns and needs. The final outcome will be next steps and action plans to move us forward in advancing sustainable agricultural economic development for our families, communities and the United States and territories.

The 26th Annual NBFA Conference is an interactive two-day program filled with presentations from service providers to enhance skills and build capacity for agricultural operations across the United States. The presentations will focus on transferable knowledge, programs and techniques in areas such as farm credit and financing, farm management, developing markets, and environmental protection.  The banquet dinner will celebrate, honor, network and give thanks for 26 years of advocacy, outreach and technical assistance being provided by the NBFA to address the needs of minority and small-scale agricultural owners/operators, workers, and landowners across the United States, territories and around the world
