Ms. Dabney has reported to C4C that she was fired from Federal service for filing EEO complaints, speaking to Robin Heard, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Departmental Management, speaking out publicly about Region 5 civil rights issues, and her participation in the Vercruysse Class Complaint.] Mr. Michael McCray, a former USDA employee who filed a discrimination complaint against the USDA Office of Civil Rights, is also featured in this interview. Mr. McCray, an African American, is a civil rights lawyer and Federal whistleblower. Michael became known as the “$40,000,000 Whistleblower” when he reported over $40 million in government waste, fraud and abuse at the United States Department of Agriculture. Later, Michael became a Judicial Reform Activist when he reported significant judicial misconduct against U.S. v. Microsoft Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson and the Ashcroft Justice Department.
