If You Want JUSTICE,You Must Stand Strong TRUTH

If you want justice, you have to stand strong on The Truth

Amen, Brother Isaac.

We must do,
what we know to do.

We can't wantonly wait for so-called "established" groups to act....
for within each of us
we have the power to drive a positive CHANGE for those in our discounted communities.

Recent events involving the LA Clippers, Donald Sterling and the  LA Head of NAACP
 disclosed what many long suspected.
  My comment is not an indictment on the entire NAACP;
nor is it limited to that organization.
Other established organizations representing themselves as advocates for Black people
(both in government and in the private sector)
are all too happy to rise as our people fall.

Quid pro quo is the name of their game.
They have been seduced by shallow power.
They flaunt "honorable" titles
They are misguided by vain ambition....
They sit with no true plan for our people....
They cheerily perch in positions ever ready  to be summoned to the master's table.

In recent times,
false leaders purporting to advance the Black agenda.....
have misguidedly bestowed awards / recognitions  to oppressors and civil rights violators.

Today,
Some sit passively silent; still in "awe" because a person of color is in the White House.
Some, confused between the concept of diversity and equity, are completely unaware of present times of trouble.
Still, others allow oppressive rhetoric to paralyze their actions.
They feel powerless...
They become mute while others distort their petitions and chant:  "President Obama is not the President of Black People"?

Meanwhile...
the heavy blood soaked doors (our ancestors had to press through) close upon us;
while doors hurl OPEN for others who vocalize UNapologetically that key officials must focus on  their "agenda"....

What about us?
What shall we,
the surviving children of the Middle Passage do?

Our people hurt... (financially, emotionally, psychologically....)
Can we afford to merely chant with the hope of CHANGE?

Let's not pause.
Let's awaken our brothers and sisters who are lulled  by the notion that a Black face in  a  "high"  place
signals that the end of a beast, called RACISM, is near.

We were called to press on and  So, We Must.
For the beast of oppression takes on a mutable and formidable form.

We must feed our people (with knowledge, truth and the assurance)
that BLACK people have an unequivocal right
to hold this administration and all administrations that follow --accountable for championing  our causes of equality and justice.

In unity and in pursuit of equity

Brothers and Sisters, when you talk to power: You can't go to power just with a cry for justice! You have to have power backing your cry; otherwise, you'll get nothing! You should never think that the Enemy is going to give you the justice that you seek. We have been crying at the foot for too long; we have to have the power to force justice!

Justice is not diplomatic language. You have to put your foot where it needs to be put when you're talking about justice. Otherwise, you don't want justice; you want friendship with former enemy! If you want justice, you have to stand strong on The Truth.
