But now her family legacy, and the health of her entire community, are in danger: Canadian oil giant TransCanada is trying to seize part of her property to build a massive pipeline through her farm. TransCanada is the company behind the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline that would transport oil from Canada to Texas, a plan rejected by President Obama in January. But TransCanada is trying to move forward with the pipeline -- sidestepping the President's decision and ignoring global protest. Julia Trigg's farm is standing in TransCanada's way, and she's asking for help from the very top of the Lone Star State to stand up to the mega-company.
