Not every election, but most national elections since Reagan's last term, I would check with our local Election Commission to see how many voters turned out. For all those elections I checked, there were more church members in our county than all those who actually voted in the national election, and usually by a very large margin. I suppose the frustration of this fact is why I decided to send this message to those friends and family who would actually stop for a moment and dwell on what that means.
