Melissa,

Pretty much everybody knows that Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) was detained
recently by the TSA and missed a flight to Washington D.C.

He even tried to cooperate with them by offering to go through the
scanner again, but that wasn't good enough, they wanted to lay
hands on him.

While the White House and the TSA try to confuse people about
whether or not he was actually 'detained', let us be clear: had the
Senator, or anyone else for that matter, tried to leave at that
point, he would have been threatened with arrest or arrested.

That's the very definition of detainment, he was not free to leave.

He was not just delayed, or held-up at the airport, he was DETAINED
for refusing to be groped.
