Take action!

CREDO Action | more than a network, a movement.

Call Representative Goodin at (317) 232-9875 and tell him to oppose the attacks on workers.

Dear Melissa,

Republicans in Indiana are on the verge of passing a radical anti-worker bill that is potentially more far-reaching than even Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has been able to pass in his anti-union crusade.

The so called "right to work" bill being pushed by Republicans is a direct attack on unions that is intended to break the back of organized labor in our state. And it's not just going to affect union workers. There is evidence that shows this legislation would result in lower wages for all workers in Indiana.1

The Republican-controlled State House will begin work on this bill today. We only have a short window to make our voices heard before a vote.

Call Representative Goodin at (317) 232-9875 right now and tell him to stand strong against the attacks on workers and commit to vote against H.B. 1001. We're asking all of our members in Indiana — whether they are represented by a Republican or a Democrat — to make this call.

Here is the script:

Representative Goodin — (317) 232-9875

SCRIPT: My name is [YOUR NAME] and I'm from [YOUR CITY]. As a constituent, I urge you to commit to vote against H.B. 1001. This so called "right to work" legislation is a direct attack on workers, and evidence shows that it would result in lower wages for all workers in Indiana.

Republicans who oppose the bill need to know that their constituents will hold them accountable for this vote. Democrats who are under tremendous pressure from the rightwing need to hear overwhelming messages of support from the people they represent.

No matter where your representative currently stands, he or she needs to hear that Hoosiers vehemently oppose any "right to work" legislation — so we need to make sure that every representative hears from Indiana voters urging them to vote against this bill.

Because there is such a short window of time to act, it is incredibly important that you stand up against this legislation now.

Call Representative Goodin at (317) 232-9875 right now and tell him to stand strong against the attacks on workers and commit to vote against H.B. 1001.

Thank you for standing up for worker's rights.
