Phil—There is a Spanish version of WISDOMKEEPERS but I have only one.  Maybe you can find it online.  Sounds like a great project.  Blessings,

Hi Harvey,

I just ordered a copy of Wisdomkeepers to take with me to visit the Wauja people in Amazonia next month.  Do you have any Spanish or Portuguese version?  Thanks for writing this!

My wife and I have been working with the Arawak-speaking Wauja tribe since 1980.  She speaks Wauja as well as Portuguese with them, and is in almost daily contact via skype and facebook help them preserve their language and customs.

I would appreciate it if you could help us to publicize this project that the Wauja have asked us to do.  They will be preserving their own history as well as developing digital literacy for the community to protect them from loggers, poachers, and others who want to steal their land.  Wauja women will be getting half the cameras and other equipment so that there will be no gender divide in terms of digital literacy.

If you have his email, could you please forward this to Night Wolf?  Also, are there other media leaders we should reach?  If we do not meet our $10k goal in 11 days then we will forfeit the monies we already have raised.

Thanks for whatever you can do.  Happy New Year!  http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1198844714/return-of-the-captured-spirits

Peace,

Phil
