Fwd: Check out Study: USDA still plagued by civil rights problems - Forbes.com

USDA will never establish a workforce culture that embraces diversity until Secretary Vilsack deploys a zero tolerance policy which begins with disciplining (i.e. demoting, firing) managers who either violate the civil rights of employees or deny public services to diverse groups. and other employee groups recognize that " recycling bad managers" (those guilty of prohibited personnel practices or civil rights violations) cost the taxpayers in the millions annually. Cultural transformation will never be attained by promoting, rewarding or celebrating those who are responsible for USDA's civil rights deficiencies. To date, the agency has failed to respond to our December 2010 request focusing on USDA disciplining managers who discriminated against the Black farmers.
Sadly...some narrow minded person wrote in that he wanted to start a new NAACP ---National Association for the Advancement of Caucasian People.   We have along way to go before diversity becomes a reality.    We must continue to lift every voice...............
